Here at Animal Friends, we are always on the search for great pet products to review. We received the Solvit Deluxe Telescopic Dog Ramp from Easy Animal to review, and here it is! Henry the Labrador is now 4 months old and is not yet able, or allowed, to jump in and out of the boot so we decided to let him try the ramp. Let’s see what he made of it!
Pet Score 5/5
The ramp is perfect for young pups that aren’t yet able to jump in or out of the boot as well as for elderly dogs that might struggle. Henry loves the ramp. He quickly learned what he needed to do to get in and out of the car. Whether it Henry the pup or Buffy the pensioner the Solvit telescopic ramp gets a 5/5 from the dogs!
Ease of Use 4/5
As the ramp is telescopic it’s super easy to use! It’s one of the lightest ramps on the market but can still be seen as slightly heavy, depending on who’s using it. It weighs 13lbs, which is light in comparison to others available. The carry handle makes it easier to carry while its safety release latch prevents any accidental opening.
Effectiveness 5/5
It’s super effective. It does exactly what you need it to and you have one happy dog, whether they’re young or old. The ramp makes walks a lot easier for any dogs that might struggle in getting there in the first place. It truly makes sure that no pet gets left behind.
Value for Money 4/5
This ramp is currently retailing at £89.99 on the Easy Animal website. This might seem a bit costly but considering it helps both puppies, so not to strain their joints, and elderly dogs we think it’s worth the price.
Design 5/5
It’s designed perfectly to do what it needs to do. As it’s telescopic it’s able to be adjusted to the height you need. It’s also very versatile and can carry the heaviest of breeds without being strained.
Overall the ramp is great! And with a variety of options available for different vehicles, you’ll be able to find the perfect ramp for yours. To have a look at what ramp you might want or need visit the Easy Animal website.
