Comedy Pets Caption Contest Giveaway Terms and Conditions

This giveaway has now ended.

  1. The giveaway is open only to individuals aged 18 and over.

  2. The giveaway is open only to individuals who reside in the United Kingdom.

  3. The giveaway is not open to Animal Friends Insurance or Comedy Pet Photo Awards employees.

  4. The giveaway is open only to Instagram users.

  5. To enter, individuals must do the following between 11am on Thursday 22nd September to 11.59pm on Monday 27th September 2022: Create a caption for the photo by leaving a comment on the original Comedy Pets Caption Post on Instagram.  

  6. Two winners will each receive £100 in e-vouchers (in the form of five £20 vouchers) to spend at a variety of retailers at https://animal-friends.select-your-reward.co.uk/.

  7. Multiple entries are permitted in the giveaway and individuals may create as many captions as they wish.  

  8. The giveaway is exclusively for Instagram users. We will not accept entries via Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, email, sent in the mail, or posted anywhere that is not on the original Caption Contest Instagram post.

  9. The two winning captions will be decided by three judges from Animal Friends, and one judge from the Comedy Pet Photo Awards. The winning caption will be whichever the judges deem to be the ‘most funny’, ‘most original’ or ‘most inventive’.

  10. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

  12. Entry to the giveaway is free.

  13. There is no automatic prize. Entering does not guarantee winning a prize.

  14. The giveaway runs for 5 days and ends at 11.59pm on 26th September 2022. Any captions received after this time will be discounted.

  15. The winners will be notified via a reply to their comment posted on the original Instagram post on Tuesday 27th September. The winners will then be direct messaged privately with their exclusive e-voucher codes. Any personal information you provide to us will be used only to administer your prize and will be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/privacy-policy/

  16. The winners have until 5th October 2022 to redeem their e-codes on this site https://animal-friends.select-your-reward.co.uk/ before they expire. The full list of reward options can be found here: https://ultimate.select-your-reward.co.uk/YourChoices

  17. Animal Friends will not replace any e-codes if they have not been redeemed by 5th October 2022.

  18. Once the e-codes have been redeemed on the Hawk Incentives portal and a retailer’s product or products are ordered, the retailer’s e-code will then be available to use after 5th October. Validity periods may vary from product to product – before you order your eGifts/Gift Cards please check out each products T&C’s. These are either found directly within or accessible via a link within the product description.

  19. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.

  20. We will respond to any questions or queries about the Instagram giveaway via email at marketing@animalfriends.co.uk.

  21. Animal Friends reserves the right to cancel this giveaway or amend these terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice.

  22. The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

  23. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the giveaway. Animal Friends further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer, relating to - or resulting from - participation in - or downloading any materials in connection with - the giveaway.

  24. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any delays encountered with the delivery of the prize.

  25. If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

  26. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.

  27. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta or Instagram.
